1. Acceptance of These Terms
 Welcome to Power of Reinvention with Trucey (the “Website”, “we”, “us” or “our”), published at www.powerofreinvention.com, together with our podcast and associated social media channels (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform — including reading articles, subscribing to our newsletter, listening to our podcast, posting a comment, or submitting your own story for publication — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, available at www.powerofreinvention.com/privacy-policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect personal information and forms part of these Terms.
 

2. About This Website
Power of Reinvention with Trucey is a personal creative project publishing articles, blog posts, poetry, interviews and the “Reinvention Through” story series, alongside a companion podcast, exploring stories and reflections on personal transformation and reinvention. Content is created and curated by Trucey (the “Author”, “we”, “us”) and may include contributions from guest writers, interviewees, and readers who submit their own stories.
 

3. Who Can Use This Website

The Platform is intended for a general audience. If you are under 18 years of age (or the age of majority where you live), you may browse and read our content, but you must have a parent or guardian’s consent before posting a comment, subscribing to our newsletter, submitting a story, or otherwise providing us with personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent, and anyone submitting content on behalf of a minor confirms they have the authority to do so.
 

4. Changes to These Terms and the Website

We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, when our podcast launches, when we introduce paid content, or as the Platform otherwise evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. We may also add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform, including specific articles, series or features, at any time without notice.
 

5. Editorial Content, Opinions & No Professional Advice

Content on the Platform — including articles, blog posts, poetry, interviews, the “Reinvention Through” series and podcast episodes — reflects personal opinions, experiences and creative expression, and is provided for general information, inspiration and entertainment purposes only.
 

Nothing on the Platform is professional advice of any kind, including medical, mental health, legal, financial, career or therapeutic advice. Personal stories shared by contributors and interviewees are their own experiences and do not represent a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of any outcome for you. If you are dealing with a personal, medical, legal or financial matter, please seek guidance from a suitably qualified professional. Your use of, or reliance on, any content on the Platform is at your own risk.
 

6. Personal Essays & Life Writing

Some content on the Platform — including articles in the “Reinvention Through” series and other personal essays — is drawn from the Author’s own life and personal recollections. It reflects the Author’s own perspective, memory and experience at the time of writing, which may differ from how other people involved recall the same events.
 

Where content refers to other real people, we take reasonable care to protect their privacy — for example, by changing names, identifying details, or combining elements of more than one person’s experience (a “composite”) — unless that person has given their consent to be identified, or has otherwise been featured as a contributor under clause 9 (Story Submissions, Interviews & “Reinvention Through” Contributions). Nothing published on the Platform is intended to assert a defamatory fact about any identifiable individual; where the Author expresses a view about another person’s conduct, it is offered as the Author’s honest personal opinion, based on the Author’s own experience.

7. Intellectual Property in Our Content

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Platform — including text, articles, blog posts, poetry, podcast episodes and recordings, images, graphics, logos and the “Power of Reinvention with Trucey” name and branding — is owned by Trucey and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print content from the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided all copyright and other notices remain intact. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt, publicly perform or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law (for example, fair dealing for criticism, review or news reporting) or as expressly allowed under these Terms.
 

Any third-party trade marks, logos or brand names appearing on the Platform (for example, podcast distribution platforms) belong to their respective owners, and no rights are granted to you in relation to them.
 

8. Comments

We welcome comments on articles, blog posts and podcast episodes to encourage discussion and community. By posting a comment, you agree to the following:

(a) Licence to us. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to display, reproduce and distribute your comment on the Platform and in connection with promoting the Platform (for example, sharing an excerpt on social media), for as long as we choose to keep the comment published.

(b) Your comment is yours — and your responsibility. You retain ownership of your comment but are solely responsible for its content. You confirm you have all rights necessary to post it and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights.

(c) Prohibited content. You must not post comments that are defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, unlawful, or that infringe any person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or that contain spam, advertising, malware or misleading information.

(d) Moderation. We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, edit, refuse to publish, or remove any comment at our sole discretion and without notice, including comments that breach these Terms or that we otherwise consider inappropriate.

(e) No endorsement. We are not responsible for, and do not endorse, any comment posted by a user, and accept no liability in connection with user comments.

9. Story Submissions, Interviews & “Reinvention Through” Contributions

If you submit your own story, take part in an interview, or otherwise contribute content for possible publication as part of the “Reinvention Through” series or elsewhere on the Platform (a “Contribution”), the following additional terms apply:

(a) Licence and consent. By making a Contribution, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to edit (including for length, clarity and house style), reproduce, publish and distribute your Contribution — including your name, likeness, photograph, voice and biographical details — on the Platform, our podcast, and our associated social media and marketing channels, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.

(b) No obligation to publish or pay. We are under no obligation to publish any Contribution and may decline, edit or later remove one at our discretion. Unless we expressly agree otherwise with you in writing, Contributions are provided voluntarily and without expectation of payment.

(c) Your warranties. By submitting a Contribution, you confirm that: it is your own original work (or you have the right to share it); it is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge; you have obtained the consent of any other identifiable person mentioned in your story before naming or describing them; and publishing it will not infringe any law or any third party’s rights (including privacy, defamation or intellectual property rights).

(d) Withdrawal. You may ask us to remove or anonymise a previously published Contribution by contacting hello@powerofreinvention.com. We will consider your request in good faith, but are not obliged to remove content already shared, cached, quoted or redistributed by third parties.
 

10. Newsletter and Podcast

If you subscribe to our newsletter (“Subscribe to the Journey”), we use your email address to send you updates in line with our Privacy Policy; you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting us.

Our podcast may be distributed through third-party platforms (for example, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or similar services). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own separate terms of use and privacy policies, which we do not control.

11. Future Paid Content, Products, Subscriptions and Donations

The Platform is currently free to access. We may, in future, introduce paid content, memberships, subscriptions, products, or accept donations or “tips” (for example, via a paid newsletter or podcast tier, Ko-fi, Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee). If and when we do, specific terms covering pricing, billing and refunds will be provided at that time and will apply in addition to these Terms.
 

12. Third-Party Links, Platforms and Services

The Platform may link to third-party websites, podcast platforms, social media pages or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or terms of any third-party site or service, and a link does not imply our endorsement. You access third-party sites and services at your own risk and should review their own terms and privacy policies.
 

13. Privacy

Our collection and handling of your personal information — for example, when you comment, subscribe to our newsletter, submit a story, or contact us — is described in our Privacy Policy at www.powerofreinvention.com/privacy-policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described there.
 

14. Copyright Complaints

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@powerofreinvention.com with: (a) a description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed; (b) the location (URL) of the material you believe is infringing; and (c) your contact details. We will review genuine complaints and may remove or disable access to the relevant content.
 

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of viruses, or that any information on it is accurate, complete or up to date. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
 

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (including Trucey personally, and any contributors, guest writers or interviewees featured on the Platform) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, income, profit, opportunity or goodwill, arising from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Platform, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law (including certain consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law), our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant content or service, or the cost of having it resupplied.
 

17. Indemnity by You

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us (Trucey, and anyone assisting in operating the Platform) harmless from any claim, loss, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or any content you submit (including comments and Contributions).
 

18. Suspension and Termination

We may, at our discretion and without notice, restrict, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Platform (for example, blocking you from commenting) if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.
 

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and of Australia.

While our content may be accessed by, and our podcast distributed to, users outside Australia (including through international platforms such as streaming services, podcast directories, or Substack, should we publish there in future), we make no representation that the Platform or its content is appropriate, lawful or available for use in all locations. If you access the Platform from outside Australia, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local laws.
 

20. General

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that or any other provision. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
